Question: "Why do you recommend that we put our machine indoors
when it's hot outside?
Answer: Without going through a lesson in refrigeration
mechanics, the simple answer is that frozen drink machines use the surrounding
air to remove the "heat" from the mix until it's frozen. The freezing
capacity is greatly decreased as the outside air temperature increases,
especially over 90 F. Once it hits 95 F, it's almost mandatory to put your
machine in cooler air - or it just won't work!. One trick we use is to
make the mix colder before you pour it into your machine so the machine has less
"heat" to remove, but putting it indoors is your best solution.
