A Surprising Fact About
Margaritas

The answer is: "If there's a worm in it, don't put it in the
Margaritas!"
The question is: "What kind of tequila has a worm in the bottle?"
If you’ve
ever seen a bottle of “tequila” with a worm in the bottom, it’s really a cousin
of tequila called mezcal. Tequila is actually a mezcal, but not all mezcal is
tequila. Tequila can be produced from blue agave only (Mexican law), but mezcal
can be made from one of hundreds of other species of agave found in Mexico.
Some mezcals will have a worm in the bottle, found naturally in the agave plant,
which are actually the larvae of a moth. |

Our Part For The Troops

to help them stock their "bar" in Tikrit, Iraq, so we shipped them a case of
assorted mixes for their blender (non-alcoholic). No matter where you stand
on this, I think we can agree that helping morale during their time away from
home is something we can all support, while hoping their stay is only as long as
